Non-Defective Items – Final Sale (outside the EU)
Due to the collectible nature of premium diecast models, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for non-defective items based on change of mind or personal preference, except where the law gives you a right to cancel. For orders delivered to Canada, the USA and countries outside the European Union, all non-defective items are final sale. Customers in the European Union have a 14-day right of withdrawal, described below.

European Union – 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If your order was delivered to an address in the European Union, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you (or someone you name, other than the carrier) receive it, without giving a reason.
How to withdraw: tell us clearly that you want to cancel before the 14 days end, by email to info@garage73.ca or through the withdrawal option for your order.
Sending the item back: return the model within 14 days of telling us, complete and in its original box, to:

Unless the item is defective or incorrect, you pay the cost of returning it. We recommend a tracked, insured service.
Condition: you may open the box to inspect your model, as you would in a store. You are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling beyond that — for example, a model removed from its base, displayed, or returned with missing parts or packaging.
Refund: we refund the payment received for the item, including the original standard delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may wait until we have received the item back or you have sent proof that you returned it, whichever comes first. Refunds go to your original payment method. EU orders are processed by our merchant-of-record partner Global-e, and the cancellation and return terms shown at checkout also apply.
Our Quality Guarantee – Full Coverage
If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will replace it or provide a full refund at no cost to you.
What qualifies:
- Manufacturing defects (broken parts, missing pieces, structural damage)
- Items that clearly do not match the product description
- Shipping damage (crushed packaging, damaged model)
- Wrong item shipped
What does NOT qualify:
- Minor paint variations or factory assembly variations
- Cosmetic wear or paint overspray within factory tolerance
- Loose parts within normal assembly tolerance
- Box wear from manufacturing or handling
- Damage caused after delivery, for example from display, handling or modification (opening the box to inspect your model is fine)
To claim: contact us at info@garage73.ca within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will replace the item or provide a full refund, including return shipping costs (prepaid return label in Canada and the USA; for other destinations, we reimburse your return shipping).
Non-Delivery Protection
If your order does not arrive within 30 days of the estimated delivery date shown in your order confirmation, contact us to arrange a replacement or full refund.
Refund Processing
When a refund is approved:
- Processed to your original payment method within 5 business days
- Bank posting takes an additional 5–10 business days
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was defective or incorrect, or you are withdrawing from an EU order (see above)
- Return shipping for defect claims is covered by Garage 73
Legal Cancellation Rights (Where Applicable)
If you are unable to cancel your purchase due to circumstances covered by applicable consumer protection laws in your province or country (such as non-delivery beyond 30 days, missing or unclear contract information), you may contact us for a cancellation. We will process refunds for legally protected cancellations within 15 days.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live, including the legal warranty of quality under Québec law and the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity in the European Union.
