I race a 1981 Mazda RX-7 at Circuit Mont-Tremblant. I've walked the halls of the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. And I run Garage 73 from the Laurentians, in Quebec — on my own, which means the person who chooses the models, answers your email, and packs your box is the same person.
That matters more in this hobby than most sites will admit. Nearly everything sold online moves through warehouses where nobody has opened a box, driven the real car, or stood at the corner watching one come through it.
What Garage 73 is
A curated collection of premium collector models — principally 1:18, with select 1:12 and 1:43 pieces — chosen one at a time.
Not everything. Just the ones worth owning.
I don't carry six thousand SKUs, and I'm not trying to. I carry what I'd put on my own shelf: rare liveries, limited runs, motorsport cars with a real result behind them, and road cars that changed something. If a model is mediocre, it doesn't go on the site, however well it might sell.
Every listing is chosen for three things — build quality, authenticity to the real car, and whether the car itself is worth commemorating.
The brands
I'm an official dealer for AUTOart, LCD Models, Kyosho, KK-Scale, and Exoto.
I also carry BBR, Spark, Norev, Minichamps, Polistil and others — including pieces Canadian retail doesn't stock.
Several of those relationships are direct with the manufacturer, with no distributor in between. I've built them the slow way: by showing up, asking questions, and being someone worth supplying. It's why I can often find a model that isn't listed here at all.
